Interpretation is simultaneous when an interpreter speaks simultaneously with a speaker, at that the interpretation is usually conducted from a special booth and is transmitted to listeners by means of special-purpose equipment. By using services of a simultaneous interpreter you save time considerably, since a speaker does not have to interrupt his speech, so that the audience is able to listen to the translation. The result is the organizers' cost cutout for holding an event: significant reduction of rental costs, accommodation expenses, costs for meals, etc. Furthermore, a speaker may speak freely, without directing his attention to an interpreter and without making pauses, and the audience will hear the interpretation without any delay, in real-time.
